Cottage Craft Works offers American-made, detachable steel agricultural chain manufactured by Allied-Locke Industries in Dixon, Illinois. Allied-Locke has produced agricultural and industrial chain products since 1965. Our Amish distributor selected this manufacturer for its reputation for dependable chain used on working farm equipment.

Keep spare chain ready for harvest season

A broken chain can stop a manure spreader, farm conveyor, or older agricultural machine at the worst possible time. Rather than selling individual replacement links, we offer economical 10-foot sections. Keep a spare section in the barn for emergency repairs, or order enough to replace an entire worn chain loop before the busy season. Old chains that have spent decades on vintage equipment may keep breaking even after you repair one link.

How to identify the correct chain

Do not select chain by appearance alone. Use the Cottage Craft Works chain measurement chart to compare pitch (P), overall width (M), inside opening (E), hook dimension (D), and thickness (T) with an undamaged link from your existing chain. Record the chain size for future repairs, especially if you could lose a complete loop in the field. Matching the correct chain and sprocket size is essential; verify equipment fit before purchasing.

How to order

1. Review the chain photos and measurement chart. 2. Under “Please Select Chain Size — 10-Foot Section,” choose the size needed. 3. Use the quantity box for additional 10-foot sections of the same size. 4. To purchase a different size, add the first size to your cart, return to this page, and choose the next size. 5. To correct a selection, reopen the drop-down and choose “Please Select” before making a new selection.

Attachment links and connecting the chain

The steel detachable chain is self-hooking; you generally don't need a separate attachment link to join the chain. Shipping and availability

Flat-rate base shipping is $19.95 per order for standard quantities. Additional shipping charges may apply for larger quantities, heavier shipments, or unusual destinations; we will invoice you for additional shipping if needed. needed. A 10% restocking fee applies if the invoice is not paid within 15 days, and the item will not ship until payment. Typical lead time is 1–2 weeks; contact us for urgent or unusually large orders.
