Maytag Wringer Cap Parts
New reproduction wringer cap parts for Maytag E, J, and N Wringer Washers from the 1940s’-1983. Amish replacement parts are often better made than the original factory parts, using durable materials like stainless steel instead of plain steel.
Wringer Cap parts include replacement upper and lower rollers, roller hangers, release bar, reset handle, tension handles, and eccentric parts.

It would be impractical to list shipping for each individual part. Therefore, shipping & handling is based on an average purchase of a few parts. We charge a minimum $14.50 flat base rate on all items, regardless of size. This covers the cost to process, pack, drop-ship, and ship.
Additional shipping may be required for larger orders. We will send you an invoice if additional shipping is needed.

The Amish depended on these old wringer washers, as most of the United States population did in the early 1900s, until newer modern spin cycle machines were developed. As manufacturing and replacement parts evolved, the Amish began having difficulty obtaining parts to maintain the wringer washers. So, they began manufacturing their own supply of replacement Maytag parts, as they still do today. The washer parts listed are the most sought-after Maytag parts. Our Amish shop can procure or make just about any part used on round- or square-tub machines. Because the Amish convert most machines to gas, air, or DC-driven motors, they don’t manufacture new electric motors. They also don’t use the drain pump, so the washer drains by gravity. If you should need an electric motor or water pump, we can find you a used take-off. Email us for availability of any parts we don’t list.

Parts ship directly from an Amish-owned business without computers; please expect some orders to take up to two weeks to ship. Most parts are stocked but some may need to be made.
